Centre de recherche implanté en lisière de parc naturel, dont le volume cylindrique sur trois niveaux, entièrement habillé de lames de bois verticales et couronné d'un débord de toiture blanc, se lit depuis le chemin piéton comme un objet posé dans la prairie. Le parti pris organise les laboratoires et bureaux en anneau autour d'un atrium central planté, ouvert au zénith par une coupole en charpente bois rayonnante qui distribue la lumière naturelle jusqu'au jardin intérieur. Les circulations en coursives courbes, les balustrades à claires-voies en bois et la végétation grimpant niveau par niveau font de cet atrium le véritable espace de vie.

A research centre set at the edge of a nature park, whose three-level cylindrical volume, clad entirely in vertical timber slats and crowned with a white roof overhang, reads from the pedestrian path as an object placed in the meadow. The design arranges the laboratories and offices in a ring around a planted central atrium, top-lit by a radiating timber-framed dome that carries daylight down to the interior garden. The curved gallery circulations, the open-slatted timber balustrades and the vegetation climbing level by level make this atrium the true living space.
